Trees and trash jammed up during the Missouri River flood of 2008 in St. Charles, Missouri.  The river is leaving its banks more often in the past couple of decades due to many man-made factors such as levee building, flood plain development, etc.

The 2008 flooding of the Missouri River as seen in St. Charles, MO washed many trees away from the banks as well as a lot of trash.
