CDs attack a tree man in natural and recycled sculpture.
CDs cut like ninja stars into the face of a tree man in this sculpture, Net Damage, by Adam Long. Created from unwanted AOL CDs, oak and clay made from recycled paper. This artwork was inspired by businesses trying to go "green" by switching all memos over from paper to e-mail in order to save paper. Years later they discovered that they were actually using more paper and energy because everyone printed out a hard copy and energy was being used to keep the computers running.
