A male wandering albatross spreads its massive wings in a courtship display on South Georgia's Prion Island in the South Atlantic Ocean. Wandering albatross have the largest wingspan of any living bird (averaging eleven feet), thus making it capable of remaining airborne without flapping its wings for several hours.
